Every Inchie Monday: Lasso

Hello Folks,

 In the presence of that golden lasso, I cannot tell a lie: this is, bar none, the worst inchie I have ever drawn.  But it was not for lack of trying.  I must have drawn this picture, without exaggeration, a dozen times.  I'm fairly new to drawing faces and no matter what I did, her face ended up looking like a skull.  And I think I used the wrong media (coloured pencils and sketchbook paper) to colour her because I could not get a smooth coverage with something so small.  So here, in all her lack of glory, are two versions of  Wonder Woman and her Golden Lasso of Truth.









The quilling one was, comparatively, a breeze.

    I tell you, we are antipodean twins! I did the lasso of truth way before I looked at yours. Yours are brilliant and the quilled lasso is a heart-breaker :)

    Adorable! I know you may not like how it looked but it is the idea that counts, the fact that you were able to get a whole upper body in an inch is praiseworthy! Great job!

    Wow, I would be happy to draw like that! Great idea to use Wonder Woman- I'd completely forgotten about her & her lasso.

    Never let that inner critic get the best of you. If it should be perfect, take a photo! Just keep playing with faces. The best way is to use a mirror. Love that quilling too.

    I just had to laugh when reading the text you wrote about your Wonder Woman and her Golden Lasso of Truth ;-)
    But I really like the second one! And your quilling inchie is nice as always.
