Every Inchie Monday: Wave

Hello Folks,

This week's word at Every Inchie Monday is wave.  I couldn't figure out how to draw a hand wave, like the queen, so went with the water version instead.  I confess it is somewhat copied from a picture I saw on google images, but I enjoyed using my prismacolors to colour it.

My quilled wave is a stylized version of a wave (made before I figured out what to do about the glue residue).

Enjoy your week.  Hope the weather is good and you can go somewhere where you can enjoy the water and waves.  I used to love just standing in the lake and letting the waves wash over me as a girl.  Happy memories.  Believe me, there are a lot of lakes in Ontario.

  1. love both of your interpretations. The drawn one is really great. I always wonder how you get the quilled ones to stick so well.

  3. Love your micro painting in a frame! Again, great minds think alike with the quilled waves :) Try a toothpick for applying glue in these tricky situations, and do it only in a few spots along the strip. My husband wants to live in Canada because of all the lakes. Waves, in a lake?

  7. Great waves, Kia! I used to live in many places and visited plenty of places near the ocean and miss it madly. It's the one thing about being in the desert...Have a brilliant day! c
