This week's word at Every Inchie Monday is pillow. This took a little bit of thought and I eventually went with a semi-copy of a painting by Franz Marc. My colours are different and I don't have the detail of the original painting, but I wasn't going for accuracy - just an excuse to get a cat in the inchie!
Here's Franz Marc's painting:
My quilled inchie was a puzzler. I finally decided to make it somewhat three-dimensional. It sort off looks like a pillow. I guess. lol.
I want to thank everyone for the lovely comments you leave. They really make my day. So kind.
Rest your head on a pillow and have a nice nap sometime this week.
That's it - you're officially too cute for this blog! BTW, brilliant reproduction of the original painting.
ReplyDeleteAdore the cat inchie. My daughter also loves it. She is a crazy cat lady in training, lol. I do like your interpretation of the painting. Great work on the quilled inchie as well.
ReplyDeleteThat's a delightful cat/pillow inchie and your quilled one reminds me of the bolster pillows we had at boarding school in France!

I love your kitty on the pillow, and very clever use of quilling to make a pillow!
ReplyDeleteI love your Franz Mark inch. How brilliant! Your quilling is nice too. Looks like a bolster.
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous inchies, love the cat, mine would love a pillow to sleep on ( all 5 of them)
ReplyDeleteI like your cat-pillow-inchie! It's beautiful just as Franz Marc's painting :-)
ReplyDeleteYour quilled one looks a bit (little bit?) like a pillow ;-)
Love you cat pillow and the quilled version as well
