Every Inchie Monday: Yellow

Hello Folks,

I'm known in my family as an intense disliker you yellow (I hate to use the word hate).  No one would dare give me a present that had any yellow in it.

So this week's word, yellow, for Every Inchie Monday is particularly difficult.  So I decided to go in a direction I have gone before - Saturday morning cartoons!  This time it's Spongebob Squarepants himself to the rescue:

My quilled inchie looks rather like last weeks, because the only yellow thing I could think of that I could quill is the sun - or it could be a flower.  At least this time I got to use one of those cute little buttons that I have been inspired to buy because of other people's use of them in inchies.  The background is some scrapbook paper that I would otherwise never use.  There's always something in a stack you don't like:

Have a sunny week.

Every Inchie Monday: Energy

Hello Folks,

I find the abstract concepts the hardest to do for Every Inchie Monday.  Energy is one of those.  I chose to depict two of the cleaner sources of energy.

Nuclear:

Solar:

Using that energy draining A/C this week a bit too much.  Try to stay cool this week, if possible.  Here in Southern Ontario, the sun is working overtime on energy output:  we have a humidex of 40 degrees Celsius, a tad too hot for me.  Not how you usually think of Canada, eh?

Can you imagine trying to play beach volleyball outside at noon?  Well, the Pan Am athletes are - they are incredible.  Fun games.  I'm enjoying watching what sports the CBC decides to stream.  Wish it were the Equestrian ones.  Only the stadium jumping is being shown.  I guess I should be thankful for small favours.  I can see it might be too difficult to film the cross country, but the dressage is in one place - shouldn't be too costly, which, I have read, is their reason for not broadcasting all the sports.  Elitists.  Off my soapbox now.

Every Inchie Monday: Nose

Hello Folks,

Two silly noses this week (this week's word at Every Inchie Monday).

The first is drawn:

The second is quilled:

Have a great week.

Every Inchie Monday: Yarn

Hello Fellow Inchers,

Yarn, glorious yarn:  this week's word at Every Inchie Monday.    Have you ever bought yarn with no plan to use it, just because it was so pretty you couldn't resist?   So many images that could be used for this word.  I didn't draw yarn this time, instead, I just included some different yarns that I have actually been knitting and crocheting with:  purple and aqua and blue and pink - my colours (surprised there isn't any green in there too though - also one of my favourite colours).

My quilled yarn is quite tame by comparison:

Hope you can get your hands around some yarn this week - even if only for touching purposes.
