Every Inchie Monday: Yarn

Hello Fellow Inchers,

Yarn, glorious yarn:  this week's word at Every Inchie Monday.    Have you ever bought yarn with no plan to use it, just because it was so pretty you couldn't resist?   So many images that could be used for this word.  I didn't draw yarn this time, instead, I just included some different yarns that I have actually been knitting and crocheting with:  purple and aqua and blue and pink - my colours (surprised there isn't any green in there too though - also one of my favourite colours).

My quilled yarn is quite tame by comparison:

Hope you can get your hands around some yarn this week - even if only for touching purposes.

  1. My cat has actually unraveled most of a sock that I was knitting and forgot to put away. I have to lock him out of my studio, where my spinning wheel sits, or he will pull out all the yarn and drag it through the house! I love both of your inchies!

  3. Yes, yes, yes, the cat-yarn thing. There's also the cat-quilling thing - try it (you probably already know about it). Gosh, you knit/crochet as well..... Good thinking on the quilled yarn.

  4. Dear Kia, the cat-yarn thing is a laugh riot! Your Quilled spiral is beautiful, what a feat! I love the colour and texture of your yarn-heart. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with a craft addiction--I'm in serious need of intervention for my fabricalism! Have a brilliant day! c
