Diva Challenge 172: auraknot vs mooka

My first reaction to this week's Diva Challenge was 'oh no, I can't do this'.  Mooka is a pattern I find very challenging, especially integrating it into a composition.  And Auraknot - well let's just say we are not friends.  So I considered not participating but then decided that was just wimping out and  I should challenge myself (after all it is a challenge).  So here is my very simple attempt at using two tangles I'm not very good at.

  1. Your Mooka is done very well. I can't believe you think you can't do it, because you did! And your Auraknot is done correctly, you probably just need to play with it more so it will be more comfortable.

  2. Your mooka is great, it really comes together with the shading. Auraknot looks good that shade darker aswell makes it pop.

  3. That is some fun Mooka you've got going on, turning the Aura Knot into a happy little dancing star. No one notices the imperfections the artist herself perceives if the whole composition comes together like this. (But I of course am the same way when it comes to my work ha ha ha).

  7. You did well with these. We tend to be more critical of our own work and find the imperfections, usually because we know where they are. I think it does help to keep it simple and slowly add more to it. You have a great start on this. Don't give up.
