This is my first entry into the Every Inchie Monday The word for this week is "maid". Living in Southern Ontario approx. 70 km (43 miles) from Niagara Falls, one of the things that came to mind for maid was "The Maid of the Mist" -- the boat that takes you very near to the falls, so that is what I attempted to draw. I discovered, of course, that it is very difficult to draw something in a one inch square. But, this is what I came up with. (The blue dots on the two decks are supposed to be the people in the boat wearing the blue rain coats they give to everyone when you get on the boat.)

ReplyDeleteThis reminds me that my folks did that trip when they visited friends in Buffalo about 20 years ago! Poignant as I lost my mum just over a month ago :-(
