This week's word at Every Inchie Monday is spaceship.
My first offering is a part of a spaceship: the shuttle. It is the Canadarm (officially known as the Shuttle Remote Manipulator System (SRMS)) - the series of robotic arms that maneuvers cargo and astronauts around in space. Designed and build in Canada, here it is proudly depicted on the back of the Canadian 5 dollar bill.
And finally something I can quill. Here is a generic spaceship on some sparkly, space-like paper:
I wish I could live long enough to see it when spaceships and space travel are as common as airplanes are today. Have a rocket of a week.
Wonderful work on this inchie Kia

ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous inches and research.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing a bit of Canada with us. I did not know about your nation's contribution to the Space program, nor about the five dollar note. Nice and sparkly quilled piece, Kia! Have a brilliant day! Cheryl
